Katie is a mental health professional who earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from William James College with an emphasis in behavioral medicine. As a queer clinician, Katie enjoys connecting with the LGBTQ+ community and providing identity-affirming care. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and self-esteem.
Her background allowed her to assist adolescents, college students, and adults from diverse backgrounds and identities. Providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive care is important to her work.
Katie’s approach is collaborative and person-centered. She likes to incorporate mindfulness and somatic work to honor the mind-body connection in session. Her goal is to meet clients where they are, identify areas for growth, and encourage them to live authentically. Katie is working towards licensure as a mental health counselor under the supervision of Dr. Cooperman.
Outside of session, Katie enjoys journaling, being in nature, and exploring Boston.
